Name: Trailer Thrash
Number: 2W
Years with League: 6 years
Primary Position: Blocker, Pivot, Fan, Jester of all Trades

What's a typical day or week like for you?
Working in the office of a property management company by day, super bartender by night. Derby practice twice a week, and I also throw in hot yoga, running, and cross training.
With such a busy life what keeps you motivated with roller derby?
The love I have for this sport and the people that I play it with. There is always something new to learn, new people to meet, and new ways to appreciate your team.
What is your skate gear of choice?
Atom wheels, 187 pads, Triple 8 helmet, a good bra.
Who are your roller derby heroes?
Every woman that skates in my league is my hero, each one has something special that they bring to the table that no one else can, and together we are a melting pot of awesome! There is not one girl in this league that I have not learned something from!
Do you have a motivational quote?
Don't suck. It's easy to chant in my head before that first whistle. It also makes me laugh a little.

Do you have a signature move?
I hear that people are attracted to my undercarriage...
Do you have any advice for anyone who is thinking about joining roller derby?
Just go for it! Derby doesn't have room for hesitation or second thoughts, just throw yourself in, you will figure it out along the way. :)
What animal do you think describes you?
A cockroach, I believe I can survive anything. It will be me and the cockroaches after the apocalypse, just watch. :)
Anyone you'd like to take the opportunity to thank?
My friends and family are pretty awesome, they put up with me and my constant derby talk. I also have two pretty awesome bosses that give me the time off to play and train. The girls in my league always surprise me with their drive and determination, so I am never without motivation and pride when I am on the track. I am just a lucky girl surrounded by awesome people!
Stay tuned next month for our next look into the life of one of our own TRG for MVP of the Month!
