How did you come up with your derby name? Does it have any meaning?
I grew up at the Baltic Sea and “Blitz” is the german term for “Flash” or “Lightning”.
How did you get involved in roller derby? How did you wind up with TRG?
Roller Derby is not very common in Germany, but it was offered from the university sports community in Muenster. So I showed up at the Zombie Rollergirlz, just to watch, without knowing what I can expect and without any skate experience ever. I saw it, felt in love, put some skates on and hurt my butt many times. But getting back up on my feet and being supported by other skaters kept me going. Then because of a limited research exchange in my study field, I got in contact with the TRG in 2017. And it was love at first sight. So I tried to get back to Tallahassee for a Ph.D. program. And here I am. Still in love and ready to push myself as much and hard as I can. #derbyloveallovertheworld
What do you do outside of derby?

Why is TRG (or roller derby) important to you?
TRG my love, you knock me down, but you always reach out to help me getting up again. Your friendship and love stabilizes me and my emotions. You are my dopamine and endorphin boost.
